This year, I was a little nervous, since surgery, that I wouldn't be able to keep up the tradition of taking the kids to the corn maze, and getting hand dipped ice cream afterward. But, all of Tony's family was out and so we made the trek, and I was fine. Tony even came with us! Lol We got lost in the maze, but we found our way out, thanks to some quick thinking kids. Tony, Cynthia, Gracie and TJ. Monday, August 30, 2010. 2010 Reunion/Grandpa's 80th Birthday. This years Johnson family reunion was also Tony's Grandpa's 80th birthday. We had an open house for him Saturday night. During the day we played some games. We all had beads designating the teem we were on. We had a fun time. Gracie decided to show nature's beauty buy doing a photo collage. She titled it "Beauty is Nature's Rainbow". We set my camera to the close up setting and she headed out with her dad, in hunt of trees. It was the perfect time of year.FALL! I called everyone I could think of. No go. He had to depict a Utah Climate. He chose a dry desert. So, we pulled out the cricut and wikipedia, so we could look up some pictures and we created our own little Utah Desert. I drew out for rifle deer, he DID NOT draw out for muzzle loader. What? While Gracie and I were sporting the orange hats inside the cab. Oh hunter orange, how sexy you are! For the Muzzle loader Elk hunt, Tony and TJ left at 5 am on opening day. Ugh! Today is the last day of the hunt. So, I guess those Elk are safe for another year! As time moves on,.
