He was born at 3:22 am - weighed 7 lb 9 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. I only pushed 3 1/2 times and he was here! My contractions started yesterday and got to be about 5 minutes apart by 7:30 last night. We got to the hospital around 9:30 and just waited until I was fully dilated and he was ready to make his arrival. He was absolutely wonderful!

Yesterday after church it was so hot we decided to let the car cool a little bit before we put James in his car seat so we let him stand in the drivers seat for a bit. Thursday, September 13, 2012. I honestly can't believe miss harper kate is 4 weeks old today. She has been a great baby so far, although i think the last 4 weeks she's been in her "sleepy" new born stage, and is starting to wake up a bit more now! We love having a new little one in the house, although I'm tired a lot, she is a trooper at night. She is going 5 or 6 hours sometimes already at night. thank you lord! Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Samuel turns three weeks tomorrow! He went for his two week old check-up last week and his doctor said that he is doing great. He weighed 5 lbs. 14 oz., so he is really getting up there! He also does a half smile quite often, which is also adorable. Samuel has had an exciting couple of weeks, other than getting his heel pricked at the doctor's office. I think any new mom can attest to the sheer torture of watching that! He loves getting to meet all of his new friends and family.
