So far I probably had about 4 hours of development and research and I think I am at decent point. There is a bit of code duplication, there is a bit of hard coded logic. I am not happy about it but I need to move on and leave it to be polish before final release. Code grew a bit. If you have Construct 2 - which is downloadable for free - You can see the project with progress up to this point.

Bytes and Nibbles about pretty much anything. Saturday, September 6, 2014. So here I am - I started with a Space Shooter game which turned out to be a bigger bite that I could chew at the moment. The game mechanics are simple, but actually making it fun turned out to be a problem -Doh! So putting that to rest for a bit, I am today starting a type of missile command type of game. The mechanics are simple, and I am going to keep the number of features to a bare minimum. Let's do this!

So in order to fire a Missile I am going to use the following strategy: First check which cannon is the closest to the Touch point. Second check if there are missiles left. If so Fire, if not move the next and so on. To calculate the distance between each of the 3 cannons and the touch point, I am using a built in function, named distance when setting a Instance variable. View my complete profile.
