Sunday, July 26, 2009. This summer we started our first annual Ballard/Petersen Reunion with Justin's step-dad (Terry's) kids. We're all around the same age and have kids all similar in age. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. First Day of School! Is in 2 nd. Grade this year, Mrs. Honeymiller. Is her teacher this year. Taya. LOVES school, she never wants to miss a day and last year even cried when I had to check her out early one time. The first day of school, for her, is better than Christmas morning. Sunday, December 28, 2008. A couple of weeks before Christmas we went home to our annual cousin Christmas party at Aunt Lisa's. We always have a ball at this one! The kids being silly dressing up. Saturday, August 15, 2009. Park City Vacation #3. So, for the third time this summer we headed back to Park City, apparently we can't get enough of the place this year, and who can? Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Lincoln's 1st Birthday Party! For Lincoln's first Birthday we did a little monkey theme and had family over for his party, it was way fun, all but the cake anyway. OK I am so not a cake decorator, I found this cute little monkey cake and thought it would be so fun, so I decided to make it ALL from scratch. I seriously don't know what I was thinking, and for any of you that think this cake looks half descent, what you don't realize is that it took me almost 7 freaking hours!
