Wednesday, November 28, 2012. When I told Andrew that Charlotte was a boy he screamed, "You lied to me! Without thinking I said, "They lied to me! But with time the shock has somewhat worn off for all of us and he keeps reminding me that the boys will outnumber the girls and that his name IS Charlie. Thursday, June 6, 2013. The Tiny Red Heart That Saves Lives. There is something that I have been putting off for almost a year now. A new drivers license. I could say that I was too busy or kept forgetting but truthfully I really DID NOT want to go. My number one reason was I loved my picture (young, thin, great hair and my favorite sweater! I felt my throat tighten and my eyes start to well. You see after we buried Charlie a friend asked my mother if we had donated Charlie's organs. I was so enraged!

Saturday, October 27, 2012. I recently read Angie Smith's book I Will Carry You. On Friday, Jared and I saw Dr. Bleich to see how much Charlotte had grown in the last 3 weeks. She is still tiny but so strong! She weighs just 1lb 11oz and still measures several weeks behind. But Dr Bleich was amazed to see the best picture of her kidney yet. And for once, we were not rushing around trying to get ready, thanks to the kids getting up way early giving us plenty of time to get to church on time. I think he shoved about 5 tootsie rolls in his mouth before. We started taking pictures. He knows his time with free for all. Access to candy is limited. Since the weather was predicted to be bEaUtiFul, Brad took the day off from work to go on a mountain bike ride. Riding season is ending so I see a little withdrawal/depression when his fav warm weather hobby ends. Glad he could get in another ride! We have been so busy lately that our pumpkins have been sitting uncarved on the front porch for about 6 weeks. Yikes!

Our seats ended up being great.we were close to the field and saw some of the goals being scored close up which was super exciting! Seeing these ladies play (ages ranged from 20's to upper 30's! We don't have a ton of posts this fall because most of our Saturdays (like at least 3 hours each week.and that doesn't include travel to and from the games! Were spent at the soccer fields watching the kiddos play soccer. In this video, G2 doesn't score a goal but he gets pretty darn close and you can see how he kicks the ball and runs around the field. G2 had a great coach who kept things energetic and exciting for this group of 3 and 4 year olds!
