Monday, April 19, 2010. We took Alex to the pool this past weekend and quite by mistake, we left the "floaties" at home. Wouldn't you know that girl swam the short length of the pool without them! She was swimming in a totally vertical position, but she did it! Now we just have to work on her putting her head in the water (thus the vertical position). We did eventually go back to get the floaties, but she's on her way to being a swimmer. I love having access to a pool! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Sunday, February 10, 2008. Alex has had a couple of "firsts" lately. In December she got her first haircut! I actually cried when Trish (our stylist) cut off her curls. It took all of 5 minutes and then she was finished. Alex did such a good job sitting still in the chair. The other first was a trip to the dentist! She had x-rays taken and let the hygienist clean her teeth. The doctor poked around and said that everything looked good. By the way, we now brush AND floss every night. Posted by Baby Alex.

I'm officially back in Maryland with just Ethan, everyone else will converge in the next 3 days. And boy am I excited!
