Neither Here Nor There: Maddie turns 6!
http://jmccuiston.blogspot.com/2012/04/maddie-turns-6.html
April 4, 2012. My Maddie girl turned 6 today! Here's Maddie with her purple flower cake. Here is her birthday table. Notice the small jars with purple flowers. The purple flowers she picked out! We even had Grapico to go along with our purple theme (oh, how I love themes! Here she is on her actual birthday (yesterday). I let her skip school (yes, I am that kind of mom) and we went to Build-A-Bear where she built a rabbit named Flopsy. We had a great time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Neither Here Nor There: March 2010

March 15, 2010. We FINALLY got a picture of Coleman smiling! March 9, 2010. Ok, so I don't update every weekend, but I couldn't think of another title. Anyway, we had a really good time this past weekend and I got some really cute pics of the kids. On Friday Katie and I took Ian, Maddie and Hannah to a class at the Zoo. They learned about deer and baby animals. They got to color, make a craft, pet an animal (I think a baby weasel this week) and ride the train and carousel. They were so cute! March 3, 2010.

Sew a Weekend Housewife: My Maiden Craft...

Monday, March 14, 2011. So I saw an idea in a magazine a long time ago for the cutest picture frames and it stuck with me ever since. I kept pondering on it because it looked so cute and easy to make. So I decided to give it a try last night. I started out with a plain jane picture frame that I found in the clearance aisle at Walmart. I think I paid 2.00 for it, so no huge deal, just something cheap to test my theory on. :). It's not perfect, but I still love it! March 14, 2011 at 8:12 PM. 169; Sheena Ba...

calico and cards: October 2013
http://calicoandcards.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sewing, stitching, baking, cooking, gardening, shopping and general homemaking. Thursday, 31 October 2013. I hadn't been in the mood for embroidery lately, too busy with other things, like going on holidays, sorting my clothes out and spending more time outside in the lovely summer weather we had. Now, at last, I'm back in the mood. I've wanted to do some chicken scratch embroidery for a long time, this week I settled down and made this. Links to this post. Friday, 25 October 2013. calico and cards: May 2014
http://calicoandcards.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Sewing, stitching, baking, cooking, gardening, shopping and general homemaking. Thursday, 29 May 2014. I sorted out my tee shirts recently and realised most of them were plain colours and some were very old. Got rid of the old ones and started looking out for new ones. This striped one caught my eye straight away, I like stripes, they go with a lot of things. It will go nicely with navy blue trousers, my pale blue jeans and the darker blue ones. I like the button detail on the shoulder. Links to this post.

calico and cards: October 2014

Sewing, stitching, baking, cooking, gardening, shopping and general homemaking. Sunday, 26 October 2014. My wardrobe is full so not much clothes shopping or making going on lately. However, I was away for a few days last week at a Warner's Holiday Village on Hayling Island. While away on these short breaks we have trips out each day and I usually find something to treat myself to. This time I couldn't resist this jacket. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
