Wednesday, June 25, 2014. The zoo has the butterfly exhibit open for summer…. Eli was a butterfly magnate…just call him the butterfly whisperer. Unfortunately, they weren’t as attracted to lyla, she was holding her hand out for at least 10 minutes…. Her patience paid off…. Mine did too…. They must have just needed to get to know her, because after one landed on her, all the others joined in…. Just another reason to love summer. Monday, June 23, 2014. Wait for it…. Friday, April 17, 2015. We went to the skate park with the swans the other day. the weather for early spring is absolutely amazing. Lyla’s spunk was leaking out a bit…. The rip rider was pretty fun at the park…. A skate park pow-wow. Can you believe this? We had the most amazing rainbow the other evening. after a long, stormy, rainy and windy day, the sun peeked out just before it set and give us this beauty. How Great Is Our God! Lyla would have spent the WHOLE party in the booth. she’s quite the ham. eli wasn’t quite as excited about it at first, but in a very short time his inner diva came shining through. My grandma, Virginia Camp, passed away on May 23, 2015. it is such a relief to know she is at peace. she waited a loooong time for her reward and now she’s receiving it! Saturday, November 1, 2014. As soon as “the creature” is up the kids are begging to take a trip to the farmstead. it’s the best harvest fest around…. It’s been too scary in the past, but this year she made it! They added a new game called friendly fire, it was a hit…. We always spend most of our time here…. They had some pretty sweet pumpkins. Not a bad shot for a point and shoot…. To infinity and beyond! Some days i think we should build on of these in our backyard…. And sam the giraffe….

Thursday, July 9, 2015. I love mass camping. our church went to elk flats for a weekend of fun, fellowship and…mud bathing. Our campsite…we had approximately 27 people in our group site. the kids had a blast. Crazy knife wielding banshees…. The campground was bordered by a nice little river with hot springs! Our contribution to the potluck, a cost-co box of corndogs roasted over the fire. i’m telling you, these were a hit. so if ever you are in the forest and need to bring a dish, here ya go.

Sunday, February 15, 2015. Eli took a water color co-op class last semester, so we had painting on the brain. we had a paint at home day today:). Wednesday, February 11, 2015. San diego fun this and that. All through my growing up years our homeschooling group would head out and brave the wild seas to catch a glimpse of a whale. We went this trip and saw something i’ve never seen, a pod of seven whales breeching! 160; it was awesome. We had a nice visit with adam’s family. Uncle tom and aunt debbie:).
