Certainly NOT January! But, whatever I feel, the reality is that 2016 is over and 2017 here, and there is SO MUCH to be thankful for! The boys finished one grade and started another. Sweet Moments of Peace. Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Spring Will Come, But Winter Is Here. I have never wished for Spring more than this Winter. I find myself praying to get past this season and into warmer weather. I look forward to sending the boys outside to play with only sweatshirts. (I look forward to not wearing a coat myself! So many wonderful things happen in Spring. Tulips bloom. Birds tweet. It's so much nicer than Winter. Winter has brought our family some AMAZING family time!

Sweet Moments of Peace. Sunday, January 22, 2017. But, I was at church. We had done our weekly trip to the coffee bar to get the boys donuts. We had said hello to practically half the church. We had cordially said "Good Morning" to those sitting around us. And the music started. It used to be that the music would almost instantly fix my mood. Who can resist lively worship music lead by an amazing worship team, right? But even by the second song, my spirits had not lifted. And that I'm never alone.".

It's amazing how taking care of one baby at home feels like a breeze. Why did I ever think having one baby was hard? So it's clear God has something else in mind, we just have to wait. I wrote in my journal today that "Chuck and I are so proud of Jase just because he's who God made him to be." I'm so privileged to get to watch this guy grow right before my eyes every single day.
