Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Kenny's end of 2nd grade play. Kenny played the part of the Narrator in his second grade play. Called Life Cycles. He's got great inflection in his voice, if I could get him to face the audience instead of the other characters he'd be on his way to Hollywood. Not too bad for an eight year old. There are a lot of clips here, but I wanted to share as much as I could with those of you out of town. There are many clips to share, 'cause they're just so darn cute. All you need is love.

Thursday, July 31, 2008. Tahoe Vacation Day 5. Was our last day. Rick and I spent the morning cleaning up and loading the truck. The kids clung to their last few hours of the Disney channel. Cranberry margaritas are our family holiday tradition! Sol enthusiastically demanded to make the turkey, which he brined. It was very fancy, and delicious. Lola loved all of the Thanksgiving foods. She sampled turkey, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, cranberry sauce, squash, stuffing, soup, pumpkin pie and a roll.

His cute and crafty wife Jennifer (AKA Fun Jenny) threw him a driveway taco truck party, which was delicious and fun. I’ve decided that hiring a taco truck to come feed a birthday party is also genius idea, no cooking and the mess just drives away when you are done! Also not pictured but essential: a margarita machine!
