My Stitching Diary: July 2013
http://rachel-mystitchingdiary.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, 5 July 2013. In January 2012 I decided that it was about time I finished off some of the many UFO's that I have acquired [obviously through no fault of my own]. I have now finished the Leanne Beasley. Block of the month called Leanne's House. I really wasn't sure what colour to do it in so initially I used a jelly roll that I had bought many moons ago. I think the middle block is my favourite . I really enjoyed making this little wall hanging and I have always wanted to make a mystery quilt.

My Stitching Diary: August 2013

Friday, 9 August 2013. Heart of the Home. And another one, I have still been working on all my unfinished projects and I think there may be some light at the end of the tunnel! My problem is, I enjoy making the blocks but just never put them together and finish them off, but, this one is now finished and I am planning on putting this one on our bed [and not in the bottom of the wardrobe where everything else seems to go]. This picture is of a close up of the middle block which is probably my favourite!

My Stitching Diary: September 2012
http://rachel-mystitchingdiary.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, 21 September 2012. With a little help from my friend! Took me twice as long as what it should have done tonight to layer this quilt up, due to the fact that my little friend really thought she was helping! Wednesday, 19 September 2012. My lovely daughter Abigail may have caught the patchwork and stitchery bug! Initially, she was going to make a sampler quilt but like me, she likes the quilt with stitchery blocks in them and this one by Anne Downs ticks all the boxes! Thursday, 13 September 2012.

busy, happy hands: December 2009
http://busyhappyhands.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Christmas dinner is at my house this year. It's a first in many, many, many years. I'm feeling rusty, but I know it will work out just fine. There'll be 9 of us. I have my list and won't stress (too much) about it. Today I'm making the Cranberry Sherbet, doing more cleaning and washing the wine glasses. I won't be dreaming about a white Christmas. because we'll have one. The shovels are ready. It's a good workout. It's going to feel like living in a snow globe. I heard him e...

Wednesday, 19 June 2013. Baltimore Quilt [part 2]. I went to the next session for the Baltimore quilt last week, and have now done the next 4 blocks - I am really enjoying it and the blocks are coming together really well. Again, for some reason I have lost the ability to rotate the pictures - so you will have to look at them with your head on one side! Well, us sewing ladies do do very strange things for our craft! All Things Crafty: Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2015/02/encore-post-valentines-day-card-with.html
Monday, February 9, 2015. Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery. I love combining crafts to create items. This time it's embroidery and cardmaking. I searched for the perfect heart pattern and found this heart at abc embroidery designs. I knew this was going to be on my card the moment I saw it. I then cut it out in a square size a smidgen smaller than my cardstock. Placed double-sided tape on the back and placed it on the top section of my card. Hope you enjoy your valentines day!

All Things Crafty: Post 4th of July Flag Finish
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/07/post-4th-of-july-flag-finish.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. Post 4th of July Flag Finish. I displayed my non-binded flag for the 4th of July and now I'm determined to finish binding the flag for future use. There were several options I could have gone with. A solid color, cutting the top and bottom straight, etc. I decided to piece the binding from some leftover tumbler blocks I had to match the colors of the flag edges. Thanks for stopping by!
