Our new adventure… parenthood. 37 weeks and 1 day. I have really been slacking about posting.😦 I have good reasons (or excuses? We have been working on the nursery and around the house for the past few weeks. Also, last week we spent pretty much every evening at the Jazz Festival. My belly at 35 weeks and 5 days. Our new adventure… parenthood. Monthly Archives: June 2012. 35 weeks and 2 days. It seems crazy that I am already 35 weeks and 2 days! It’s getting closer and closer. My belly at 34 weeks and 5 days. The girl is still doing well… moving a ton. As I mentioned in my last post, her movements are a lot more pronounced than before. A foot or an elbow pops up pretty frequently on the left side of my belly. I always rub it and she moves it but then puts it back in the same place. So fun! It tasted so good!

Our new adventure… parenthood. My maternity leave ended almost 2 weeks ago. I had mixed feelings about going back to work. I was excited but sad at the same time. I used to have panic attacks in the middle of the night while feeding Julia thinking how was I ever going to leave her at a strange place with strangers. Our new adventure… parenthood. It has been a little over two months since our sweet pea arrived. We named her Julia Elise. We kept the name as a surprise. Since we already knew that we were having a girl, we figured that we needed some sort of a surprise. For the longest time I have always said that if I ever have a girl, then I will name her Julia. I have always loved that name. I love the way it sounds… Ju–li–a. So pretty! Joel was not completely sold on it at first, but it grew on him. So it stuck!
