Since last summer's Shenandoah 100 Epic. We haven't bothered schlepping two sets of bikes to the mountains. What a killer weekend it makes, though, when you do! Joey scored a Swagman hitch rack. Monday, December 29, 2014. Rebecca enjoyed Christmas with her family in Winchester while I spent the holiday in Richmond. The following day we met in Waynesboro and headed to our PATC. Cabin near Stanardsville, VA. The last time we stayed at a cabin nearby was our trip to Morris. That trip was snowy and cold, a drastic contrast to the unseasonably warm temperatures we enjoyed this time around. The sun felt so warm on Saturday that I braved the spring-fed tub between our cabin and Morris. Hack on the Bike.

Sunday, September 1, 2013. This weekend was an official MOUNTAIN BIKE EPIC! Downhill riding at Snowshoe on Saturday followed by the Shenandoah 100 on Sunday. Camping in Slatyfork was beautiful as always. Joey and I set up our hammocks in the mossy forest and grabbed a few hours of sleep before our first day of riding. Have a great fun. Last month I visited their Beverly HIlls location and had two of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I was super excited to find out they had a location close to me, in La Jolla. Today they happened to be celebrating their one year anniversary and giving away free cupcakes! It was an exceptionally gorgeous day (even for San Diego) so I got some coffee and took my cupcakes to the beach.
