Live Better Electrically: And...We are back.
http://www.livebetterelectrically.org/2014/01/andwe-are-back.html
Jan 20, 2014. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it feels like I have been forgetting to do something…Oh right, I have a house blog I should be adding content to. In fact, I’m about to hit the one year anniversary of said blog and in my absence I managed to miss the one year anniversary of when I moved into the house itself. Shameful and unforgivable I say! Best to ignore the whole subject and move on. For anyone who might need it here at the part numbers to my old Kohler knobs. For cold, GP30004.

Live Better Electrically: August 2013
http://www.livebetterelectrically.org/2013_08_01_archive.html
Aug 20, 2013. What’s new around the Home of Tomorrow you ask? Not much, just livin’ man, L-I-V-I-N. We had beautiful weather over the weekend so I did have time to do a few little things in addition to my standard yard maintenance. The washer is nothing fancy, she picked it up at a JC Penny’s outlet of all places. Sure as heck fire gets the job done though. It took what I can only assume is 50 years of grim off my stairs and walk ways like it was nothing. Super easy to use and in a weir...Aug 2, 2013.

Live Better Electrically: June 2013
http://www.livebetterelectrically.org/2013_06_01_archive.html
Jun 21, 2013. Until recently, I was letting an old friend stay in my basement while he saved up for his big move out of state. Because of that, I’ve never really talked much about my basement. Most importantly, it has one built in feature of pure unadulterated 1960’s awesome. My friends, I speak of nothing other then in-floor shuffleboard. Complete with the original discs and push sticks. When alcohol is involved. Play goes back and forth until all four discs are shot. Best two of three rounds wins.

Live Better Electrically: November 2013

Nov 11, 2013. It does, by the way—look cool. It looks super. Cool sitting in my closet! And as an added bonus it still works perfectly. The buffer is technically a Penncrest; however, minus a color change, it’s exactly the same as the Hoover Floor-A-Matic. Little to no info seems to exist for the Penncrest, but with some digging I found a manual for the Hoover. In glorious ‘.pdf’ form. Robert @ live better electrically. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Live Better Electrically: February 2013
http://www.livebetterelectrically.org/2013_02_01_archive.html
Feb 26, 2013. Little things matter too. Weekend project time. I know what you’re thinking, It’s Tuesday, but I swear I did this last weekend. (Some might say your faithful author is a bit absent minded.). Not much to this DIY, a few dollops of Liquid Nails under the trouble spots, stacks of old college books to keep the tile corners down and wah-la you’re done. Just be careful not to use to much and quickly wipe way any excess that may squeeze out when pushing the tile down. Feb 21, 2013. Feb 17, 2013.

Mar 3, 2014. While reaching for my trusty pot of boiling water I remembered a semi-recent thrift store find. A still in the box, lightly used, Davis Infra-Red Freezer Refrigerator Defroster. With only an estimated 50/50 chase of it killing me I decided it was high time to use the little rascal. Robert @ live better electrically. Douglas Camin @ House on Rynkus Hill. Live Better Electrically: April 2013

Apr 25, 2013. When I started this blog just a few fleeting months ago I set myself a goal. I am to post at least once a week. I’ve always been one of those people that thrives with consistency. It’s also a kindness for you, my readers, to know something new will show up in a relatively timely manner. I must admit my folly though. Robert @ live better electrically. Apr 17, 2013. Live Better Electrically: Turkey Day
http://www.livebetterelectrically.org/2013/12/turkey-day.html
Dec 6, 2013. You know how on Thanksgiving everyone will go around the table and say what they are thankful for? Well, this year my esteemed declaration to the world is being thankful for having friends and family who support my wack-a-do ideas. This year they rather excitedly indulged me in one of my more unusual ones. Fondue Thanksgiving. Which let me tell you, turned out pretty freaking awesome. I having a feeling it's going to be a new family tradition. Robert @ live better electrically. Yeah, thanks ...

Mar 25, 2013. As a sci-fi nerd I’ve always had a weakness for Lucite. To me, nothing screams “THE FUTURE” like clear acrylic furniture. The smooth lines and clean look compel you to keep it clutter free so you can soak in the object's own beauty. It's an incredible set. Just the type I’ve been lusting after for some time now. I’m proud to add it to my own domicile. Now, I just have to figure out where to put it. Robert @ live better electrically. Mar 20, 2013. From the hand of God. Mar 18, 2013. It's not...
