Saturday, October 4, 2008. We got this recipe from Miss Amanda's Mama. We made them today. Here are the ingredients:. 3 C wheat flour. 2 tsp Baking Powder. 5 TBSP. shortening. 1 1/4 C. warm water. Mix together the wheat flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in. Shortening until it resembles coarse crumbs. Slowly add warm water and mix well.
