Walkies and Cheescake: February 2012
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, 13 February 2012. A Little Bit Of The White Stuff! It makes for wonderful pictures but causes havoc to transport and health. But whilst the 8 mile trek to work is good exercise, and not a sole about, I often think of the sausage sandwiches I once gave out to a group of homeless people during a worse time than this and wonder if they ever made it of the streets (like myself) or whether they are still out there waiting for someone else to give them a helping hand. Willow enjoying a run around.

Walkies and Cheescake: March 2013
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 23 March 2013. Its Grand To Be Back! After what seems to be an eternity away, I can honestly say it is good to be back. My journey will continue with new friends in tow and a determined attitude to deliver some justice, where it has been eating me away for 6 months and has to be told. I hope you`ll continue to come on my journey and if your in trouble, don`t hesitate to call on me, I`ll be there to back you. But yes, alot has changed over the last year and majority of it good - surprisingly!

Walkies and Cheescake: Welcome To Wolverhampton!
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2010/12/welcome-to-wolverhampton.html
Friday, 17 December 2010. Wolverhampton is a weird sort of city! Recently voted as the worst place to visit, I`m writing this as a bit of a disappointed black country lass and would like to put the pen pusher who has never visited Wolverhampton to get of their behinds and come and have a look! Wolverhampton was an old Saxon village, is mentioned in the doomsday book and over time has developed from a town and received city status only 20 years ago. Or can`t, depending on sentence. Am Ya = are you. Very t...

Walkies and Cheescake: May 2013
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 7 May 2013. Wansford And Thomas The Tank Engine! Finally, Spring has arrived with shorts and T-shirts! Wansford in Lincolnshire is another of the old, thatched villages with a colourful history that still comes through - even today. E decided that we would follow part of the Nene Valley Way, which start a long way from here, Kings Lyn to be exact! One of the many markers that point the way. Wansford Village hidden by the trees and the old Bridge that goes over the River Nene. See the work volunt...

Walkies and Cheescake: The Train and Edinburgh
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2010/10/train-and-edinburgh.html
Wednesday, 13 October 2010. The Train and Edinburgh. With glorious sunshine we boarded the train, only to be informed it would be delayed. It was the 07:55, but ended up being the 09:10! Well we waited and then slowly moved out of Inverness and then hurried along the track! With hastened speed we did go, with the train tilting this way and that. We passed beautiful surroundings that had been enveloped by bad weather coming up, but now showed true rugged Scotland form. But well worth the long wait. The Wi...

Walkies and Cheescake: Hot And Summery!
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2013/07/hot-and-summery.html
Friday, 26 July 2013. What a scorcher, I don`t think my arms and legs have had so much sun since 2009 when myself and four legged companion (which I miss to bits) completed our 1000 mile walk for Macmillan. My body has shifted a bit, so the sun no longer frequents the wobbly bits but it has a positive attribute to everything else! The picture above shows a rape which is used for oil. Poppies have also come out in abundance. There are many wonders in the garden, we just have to look after them. Since rece...

Walkies and Cheescake: weymouth and portland
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2010/04/weymouth-and-portland.html
Wednesday, 14 April 2010. The weather was hot and sunny. Willow was enjoying it which I thought was funny! Her big waggy tail going ten to the dozen, travelling along the cliff edges and shores. Remnants of a time gone by still remain with memorials made from portland stone on Portland Island. Some of route is diverted because of a series of collapses and it takes you slightly in land. A picture of a woman on a white horse can be seen in the distance. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Since recently mo...

Walkies and Cheescake: August 2013
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 21 August 2013. What`s In The Rainbow? A couple of weeks ago we had a few thundery storms (due more weekend! So as I do, I like to take pix of the rainbows that come out. Nothing unusual their, you may say, so I took four pictures and all slightly different, especially with the white "blobs" showing up. Had I caught something unusual entering our rainbow system? Was it the orbs of people shining through the rainbow? Or was it simply raining and I had caught the mists of raindrops? I enjoy the ...

Walkies and Cheescake: June 2013
http://walkiesandcheesecake.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Friday, 28 June 2013. I didn`t realise I was! We have all taken photographs over the years and never realise that occasionally we capture something that we knew was not there - basically unexplained. So when I took something recently (in broad daylight too) I decided to get some form of verification of what I had taken, then someone decided to go through my photos to see if there was anything else, something I wouldn`t even think about looking at twice! The picture above was taken on my way to work one c...
