Thursday, August 6, 2009. Another fun summer memory:. Marni's daycare is right beside a movie theater. Daddy really likes this, as some days when picking up Marni from daycare we will walk over and get some pop-corn. The hyphenation is because Marni calls it corn, and not popcorn. She absolutely loves the stuff. Now, almost every day when I pick her up from daycare and we get outside, she points to the theater and says, "Corn? All it took was one trip over to the theater for her to remember.

Sunday, January 25, 2009. Marni will be a big sister in June 2009! We are very excited and yet a little nervous to have 2 under 2 (and 2 in diapers). The teachers at daycare said she will be a great big sister as she is 'very motherly' and always interested in the younger kids and likes playing with her baby dolls. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. As many of you may remember, we have a quilt that was made for our wedding. The quilt has many squares (probably 24) that were made by our family and friends. We do cherish this quilt, so for those who have never seen it, stop by sometime and check it out. A couple weeks ago Marni and Tami were looking at the pictures on the quilt and from this comes a funny story that I just had to share:. And when she saw the picture of me, she said " Marni. She was somewhat interested in the presents, but most of the day was happiest because she was the center of attention. She definitely likes to show off her mad walking skills.
