OUR LYSTRUP FAMILY: Fourth of July
http://paulandmindylystrup.blogspot.com/2012/07/fourth-of-july.html
Friday, July 6, 2012. For the Fourth of July, we went out to our friends lake house. The house is right on Lake Ontario. We had so much fun and enjoyed every minute of it! We played until we dropped on their boat, jet ski, and four wheeler. This was so cute, they made a little train that attaches to the four wheeler. The kids (and Paul) loved going for rides in it. Kenley and Hadley were our little dare devils. They couldn't get enough of the jet ski! This looks like SO MUCH FUN! July 8, 2012 at 12:21 AM.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. The first weekend of February, we went down to Maryland for our oldest cousin Devon's baptism. It was so fun to see everyone! Paul's mom, dad, and littlest brother Mark, who just returned home from his mission came out too. The first day we were there, all of the boys went down to D.C. to the air and space Museum. They had a ton of fun! Giant airplanes everywhere=little (and big) boy heaven! We played dress up, had Grandpa read us tons of books, and played till we dropped!

Baker's Bulletin: April 2014

Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Brooklyn turned 8 years old January 29th. I got these pictures of her before she headed out to school on her birthday. Eight years old.wow! This was a hard birthday for me. It was an emotional one for Steve and I. Brooklyn doesn't need to be baptized because of her special needs. Plenty of special needs people still do get baptized, but Brooklyn wouldn't have been able to handle it. She is a celestial being already. I can't wait to know her after the resurection. Mary and Joseph w...

blair and maisy: March 2014

March 30, 2014. 9 day vaca, with only one day not jam-packed! Our kind of fun! 1st stop: St. Augustine Florida, the oldest inhabited city in America. Next stop: Kennedy Space Center. So Kennedy was way, way more than I was expecting. I thought one building, and a tour, right? 5 hours should be good. Umm no. Try more like 10 buildings, 2 Imax movies, a tour that takes like an hour and takes you to another building exhibit in the middle of that. It's expensive too. Glad we went though. Touching a moon rock.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014. May started out with some wall art courtesy of Madi. We joined Brooklyn for her end of year field trip fishing at Highland Glen Park. We were a little late (story of my life) and Brooklyn didn't want to fish again when we got there. And she did not want to take a picture with her sisters either. Oh well, we had fun fishing then having a picnic with Brooklyn and her class. Waiting with cousins Annabelle and Julia. The whole welcoming party. Pretending to be asleep in the car. Our f...

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Our Summer.so far. We have been having a great summer so far. We went strawberry picking at this super cute farm right down the street from where we live. It was lots of fun for about 5 minutes, then me and the kids were done! Paul could have stayed there for days picking berries. There are lots of cute parks here, and we have been taking advantage of this great NY weather! Coolest part of the summer? Definitey the Hill Cumorah Pageant! It will blow your mind! Sunday, May 22, 2011. Niagra Falls with Grandma! My mom was here for the past week and a half, so we decided to go to Niagra Falls one day. Oh my word, it is so so neat there! That was definitely one of the coolest days of my life. We only live 2 hours away from it, and will definitely be going back! We rode the Maid of the Mist, which is a boat that takes you right up to the falls. We got soaked, but loved every second of it! It was super foggy that day, but that is the Canadian side's skyline.

blair and maisy: Alaska by RV
http://blairandmaisy.blogspot.com/2015/07/alaska-by-rv.html
July 3, 2015. It's been a busy summer to say the least. We rented an RV to kick off the summer, and set to exploring places we hadn't seen up north in Alaska. Talkeetna, Denali, Fairbanks, and North Pole. Throwing rocks in the Susitna River at the end of town, with views of Mt Denali. Mommy I found a rock for my collection. 6 1/2 hour shuttle tour. Dall sheep close up! Back on the road. 2 am, still light. River cruise on a paddleboat. Musher's sled dog kennel. 4th of July weekend. Me: What did you find?

blair and maisy: California fun
http://blairandmaisy.blogspot.com/2015/07/california-fun_5.html
July 5, 2015. Got stuck in Cali for a few days trying to catch a military flight from a military base to ours up here in Alaska. Luckily we had a rental car so we could have some fun! Thought the Bolke's would appreciate this tie-dye vanagon. Ripley's Believe it or Not. Trying to catch the Space A military flight- no luck. This was actually at the beginning, but my pics posted backwards. Got back just in time, and then dinner with dad the next day. 4th of July weekend. Me: What did you find? Claire 9/13 ...
