Laquo; Hello and Goodbye. I love it when…. March 12, 2012. There are magical moments that no one can prepare you for. When my baby boy wakes up rested, looks around, finds me smiling, and responds with a grin and a giggle. And how it makes your heart ache and jump when that grin shows off his first two teeth. After playing with other kids (or just watching other kids play) in the quiet after he’ll happily babble to unwind. I imagine he’s talking about what he just saw or heard. And Open the Barn Door.

I love it when…. January 9, 2012. I’ve never been good at moving on. Letting go of regret and unaccomplished goals so that I can be present in the now unburdened. Perhaps with practice I can improve that during my lifetime. Now it’ll also be where my little boy will take his first steps, say his first words and grow to be the passionate, active, curious, mischievous, headstrong boy I see in his 6 months old eyes.
