Who We Help – Swim For Sight

There are 39 million people in the world that are blind. 80% have a curable or preventable form of blindness. 90% of the world’s blind live in the developing world in areas where there is limited or no access to eye care providers. 50% of all blindness can be cured with a 5-10 minute cataract surgery that has a consumable cost of $25. Our work is focused in these developing countries where the number of blind patients is the highest.
