In Super Swim children learn advanced stroke technique and develop swimming endurance. They work on drills to learn correct stroke mechanics of the Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly. They are introduced to proper turning techniques, including “flip turns.”. In the "Long Swim" children gain confidence by swimming longer distances to improve endurance. Small Group (6-8 swimmers). The Freestyle is not just the “stroke of choice.” It is the stroke of necessity, because it is the fastest of all swimming strokes and, with practice, can be performed rhythmically for extended periods of time.
