Friday, August 31, 2007. Coming back to LA was a bit of a shock. It was incredibly hot, which is not unusual for LA, but the hottest it had been all month in Europe was probably about 85, and that was only one of the days we were in Prague. So the heat wave was a little hard to get used to. Luckily, there's ridiculously brightly colored ice cream at Rite Aid. I had none of these flavors. Eleven days later and my toes still look like this. Wednesday, August 08, 2007. Fairly miserable day at the Louvre.

Tuesday, July 31, 2007. I apparently contracted this crap, which I now know is a little touch of conjunctivitis and means that I have to wear my glasses for a while, until it heals. I hate glasses. This is my other eye, which is fine, but a little veiny because I have a tendency for dry eyes and was probably tired, since I was born tired. Friday, August 18, 2006. Lucky Strike plus 1. Lucky Strike is a bowling alley on Hollywood and Highland that is also apparently a bar and a lounge type thing. This shot was reminiscent of the Big Lebowski. I took like twelve of this one, and I'm still not completely satisfied. Cosmic bowling every night. Old fashionedy Pinball Wizard. Soooo cool. The bar, obviously. Pool balls always classy up a scene. Bryan isn't actually bored, he's just deep in thought. See, it's totally classy. Lucky Strike plus 1.

Monday, August 04, 2008. Trying a new lollipop: maple bacon. That is exactly what it tastes like. It's kind of weird. I'm not a big fan. Detail of how textured it is. Those are giant pieces of bacon, folks. Its like when you're eating breakfast and a piece of bacon collides with the puddle of syrup and you accidently eat it, but you don't know if its good or not.
