Probably one of the hardest ones of my mission so far just because we felt like we were working pretty hard, but really getting beat down on the streets. Thursday, November 15, 2012. Stonewall Jackson High School Marching Band Competition at Patriot High School. On Saturday, October 20, Darien participated in SJHS Marching Band's last competition at Patriot High School (Sami's school). They scored an "Excellent" rating overall. This was Darien's first year with the marching band but the fourth year he's played the Trombone. He also plays the cello, piano, and guitar. Way to go Darien! Cody's Black Belt Test. Saturday, March 9, 2013. Camille's Flute Recital 2013. Camille is playing Sonata for Flute and Piano, Movement 1 and 2 by Francis Poulenc. She did an amazing job! Video quality is not that great but she still sounds good. She is learning the 3rd movement. Hopefully, some time she will be able to perform all three. Posted by Hanson's Haven. Well, at least not on my camera. We did take a trip to a Catholic church here in the city (Fjord)and took some cool pictures there (one of the members in Oslo here cleans the church, so he has a master key to all the secret passageways and stuff =P).see below. I wasn't there when it was taught the first time so I don't know exactly how that went. It probably went about how our lesson with her went this week. Cause normally we can't leave our area without permission. But hey, I do what I want right? Busy month. As usual, right? PS couple pictures. one of our dinner with a Chinese member here. Stop the glorification of busy and take time to enjoy life. July 5, 2015. This is the first year going to Libertyfest in a loooong time. I almost didn't believe I was watching it with my kids. The first time I saw this was with my husband.we were newly married and we literally lived down the street- the parade woke us up. How times change in 4 years.we left to bigger cities, enjoyed those, and then moved back with 2 kids. Ethan taking it all in. Enjoying the show first row with Guelita. He was so excited.
