Monday, June 7, 2010. My trip was aboard the Ocean Explorer. The ship had 12 rooms accommodating 24 passengers and a crew of 15 - quite a bit smaller than a Carnival Cruise ship! We traveled to the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park. The park rises from the volcanic depths of the Sulu Sea in the western Philippines near Palawan. Tubbataha is the Philippines' only marine natural park and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All in all, another great adventure. One I hope to experience with Sidney one day!
