If the house felt as though it was slighted, Tok's dining table on the other hand enjoyed unbridled attention as there was never a moment when it wasn't adorned with food of various kinds and surrounded by family members and relatives. I only realized that it was 2010 when I was writing out receipts at the tuition center. I'd write 4/1/ .and what the heck is the year now? Where was I when everyone was ushering the new year? In bed, reeling from a you-name-it-I-had-it super fever that rendered me utterly useless for two whole weeks. Didn't loose a single KG! What was I doing wrong? Happy New Year, everyone!

With that, you can hear them stomping down the stairs and all thirty of my boys could be heard trampling over each other to get out into the yard. Such is the scene when frying "spiders" were the event of the day.
