Version 5 (July 1st, 2006). This is by far the best rebreather I've built thus far. CAD designed. Reused the previous versions canister. New PPO2 housing with a water sensitive switch. New OPV/ADV design. No leaks and breathing was quite good. The lightest version thus far weighing in at 48.5 lbs fully loaded and ready to dive. CAD Rendered Parts and Assemblies. Version 4 (June 18th, 2005). Went back to an axial design. This version was a success and was less buoyant than the previous versions. It was also completely designed electronically using a CAD software product prior to building any part of the rebreather. Unfortunately, the OPV was improperly designed and trickled a constant stream of small bubbles. The sensor placement was good, but the sensor plugs were not ideal and will be redesigned for the next version. CAD Rendered Parts and Assemblies.
