No one ever said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it. Thursday, April 28, 2011. It's been a year and half! I can't believe that it's been a year and half since I've had my surgery. I'm asked daily if I regret it and I don't, I would never take it out. It's still the best thing I've ever done for myself! To look at my post from 7 months post surgery go HERE. That was at 70 pounds lost. Tonight's post is at 1 and 1/2 years post surgery and 115 pounds lost. Current day picture at 190lbs.

Every year for the past 5 years, we've started a family tradition that on Valentine's weekend we go to the rodeo. We always go on Military/Dollar days Friday. Clayton either takes the whole or half the day off and we go as a family! 9 out of 10 times it happens to be the same weekend as President's day, so we get a nice 3 and half day weekend home with him. Each year for the past few years my mother has paid for family pictures, the past two years we've used Delightful Dimples. The owner Britni Call is in our ward, and I highly recommend her if your in the New Braunfels/Gilmer area, because I personally think she is just GREAT! I was half way done with the back and it just died on me, did I mess with the mower, nope, I said oh well, he will have to finish the rest. Clayton came home from work and finished up the mowing job! Don't you love his yard work hat? He was in the middle of saying "HOWDY". He makes it look so easy! The best cake ever.

While Sam was here, we played a few games of UNO, Madison and her daddy totally rocked the cashbox with that game, for a 4 year old, she's got it down! Daddy and the little girl who has him wrapped! Simply The Cox's Tiffany. 4th of July kinda sucked this year, since we are in such horrible drought, we had no fireworks :( Instead the Saturday after we took a day trip to the coast and met up with my family!
