April 26, 2016. The Weber Fine Arts Building was designed to be an inhabited sculpture on campus. According to a press release by the UNO School of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, construction of the building was completed in 1992 by the architectural firm of Hardy, Holzman and Pfeiffer associates of New York. According to director Cindy Melby Phaneuf,. Kwaidan: Japanese Ghosts and Demons. Is an immersive journey for the audience and she wanted to make the Weber Fine Arts Building part of that journey.
