http://chilliwalter.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, 10 April 2010. That's right people. This is what I have been up to this last few weeks of freedom, before the little one arrives and then who knows what I will have time to do? Are just as simple but goes against what I just stated about citrus flavours and warm weather. This recipe from David Lebovitz's. Thank goodness for creative recipes like these. I hope you enjoy them even if you are not in your ninth month of pregnancy, a wee bit of simple, comfort baking never hurt anyone. I cut my hair!

Friday, 29 May 2009. I'm not trying to make you jealous. Promise. May has been a ridiculously great month. I almost wish it wouldn't end. I mean, not to rub your noses in it or anything, but I have been doing a lot fun stuff. I just wanted to update you on what has been going on lately, and why I love being in Europe at this time of the year. Last week was Husband's birthday. Yay! We celebrated with some good friends and a BBQ and my sister came over from London! Saturday, 16 May 2009. 2 cups peanut oil.

Chilli Walter: October 2009
http://chilliwalter.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 28 October 2009. Avocado, wasabi and lime dip. Tuesday, 6 October 2009. Lime or lemon filling for lime or lemon tart. This is a short recipe for lime or lemon tart filling. It is from the Marie Claire 'Flavours' book. I find this one easy and suitably citrusy, the way I like it. I have tried other recipes, one that used condensed milk and found it way too sweet. I guess I'll have to do some experimentin' and come up with my own version, but till then. 1 cup caster sugar. 1 cup lime juice.

Chilli Walter: March 2009
http://chilliwalter.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 22 March 2009. A garden from Eiden. The owners also feature on the website photos. They make and sell porcelain cups, mugs, bowls, vases, soap dishes, the list goes on, not to mention lamps and lights. Everything is handmade in their work shop. Unbelievable! We don't have much of a garden, but to get ready for spring I bought a few hyacinth pots from Eiden. And planted some bulbs. I am so looking forward to the flowers. As you can imagine, as with anything special, Eiden's. Saturday, 21 March 2009.

the "well seasoned" traveller: March 2009
http://globalfoodtrek.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, 12 March 2009. Central market and market street are the last of the stores on my list, i was expecting them to. Be similar to wholefoods and that i would be disappointed with what i would find. On entering the. Store their was another fantastic produce department, but the attention to detail with product layout put wholefoods to shame, there is every kind of fruit and vegetable that a foodie could wish for, the array of herbs that are on offer would grace the best professional kitchens of Europe.

the "well seasoned" traveller: A rare sight in San Francisco " the Supermarket"
http://globalfoodtrek.blogspot.com/2010/01/rare-sight-in-san-francisco-supermarket.html
Monday, 25 January 2010. A rare sight in San Francisco " the Supermarket". When researching supermarkets and grocery outlets to visit whilst in San Francisco and the Bay area one would imagine that you would be spoilt for choice. Supermarkets as we know them in Europe are an endangered and rare species, here in one of the most foodie cities in the USA. This is all very well ,unless you are on a weekly budget and just need to buy the essentials . Its great for foodies but becomes expensive otherwise.
