Sunday, July 31, 2016. We have had a powerful, beautiful day! Impossible to believe this is our last night here. I overheard Sydney Stewart saying " I am going to be so homesick for Kenya when I go home". I think we are all feeling that, although a nice hot shower and clean towel/ bed will help ease us back home. Because we will be on a plane on our way home! July 31, 2016 at 11:07 AM. Thursday, July 28, 2016. This little girl was so cute! She was from the Maasai tribe. She didn't speak English or Kiswahili very well, which was surprising. I didn't get to find out what their language was called:( " -Sydney. A picture Syd posted from her safari in Maasai. More from Mindy (thank goodness):. Friday, July 29, 2016. A sobering, amazing day at Kibera slums. The largest slum in the world, housing nearly 2 million people. Many agencies and governments have tried to assist, but there is so much corruption, nothing ever really makes its way in to make a difference.but our kids spread sunshine today! But when we finally arrived, they were in heaven! Baskets for $3, jewelry for 1$, happy shoppers! Is Hells Gate at 6 am. I am hoping Sunday will actually be a day of rest! July 29, 2016 at 1:42 PM.

Friday, April 10, 2015. Easter in Palm Springs. As tradition dictates, we returned to Palm Springs for Spring Break. Since it was Conference Sunday, we still put on our Sunday best and headed over to the church building for the 1st Sunday session. I sure do love these 3! Tuesday, June 9, 2015. Sea World with sick Libby. Libby's preschool had a Sea World day where we could get in for $6 each! Of course Ty wanted to ditch school and go, so we joined the Macbeths for the day. I think Ty enjoys Sea World as much as I do! This octopus was showing off for us! This was our view for the day. Sunday, April 19, 2015. Ever since Summer was about 7 years old, her dream was to skydive in Fiji. Since she wasn't old enough when she went to Fiji, she had to do it on (or should I say above) American soil. Here's the birthday girl chilling by the pool with her dad waiting for her name to be called. I insisted on getting a picture with her before I let her jump from a plane. It could very well have been our last picture together. 😁. It took a while for them to get to 10,000 ft. Smiles from the get-go!

Saturday, March 21, 2015. Ty got a birthday surprise first thing in the morning. Grammy came by before school with a birthday breakfast, hat, and balloons. He felt very loved! He was off at 12:15 every day this week, so he got a lunch of choice on his special day. InNOut it was! Sydney had a lacrosse game, but he was a happy camper. They had a great hill he could pound his new soccer ball up. He even jumped a fence to shoot on a goal. Age 10 and already busted by the cops! Eric and Tammy Mitchell.
