These old cottage pictures were found in One of Vera Middleton Downings photo albums. The photos are not dated but clearly were taken before the 1936 fire. A good guess might be that they were taken in the 1920s. Many cottages are still recognizable but others have been burned, razed, or changed so much that the are no longer recognizable.
