Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The daycare was closed this past Friday so that Cara could attend her daughters graduation, so Eric and I took the day off also and bundled the kids off to Mom and Dady's Thursday night. Sylvia hasn't been traveling well so it was imperative that we take off after dinner, which meant we didn't make it up to the house until midnight. Cheese Souffle with Homemade Crackers (while we reviewed the menu). Leek and Potato Soup with Duck broth and Thyme. Salmon Gravlax and Beet Salad.

Sunday, July 12, 2015. Hammonasset Beach State Park. We got a late start on the camping season this year, but it was a great start! This weekend was our first weekend going to Hammonasset and I have to say we'll be going back again. The campground is huge, but we got a pair of nice shaded spots off in the south-west corner of the campground. What I wasn't anticipating was a lovely panoramic view of the salt marshes from our site! Sylvia was fascinated with Austin's hat. Two nicely shaded spots.
