Brunch DC: Napoleon Bistro
http://brunchdc.blogspot.com/2009/06/napoleon-bistro.html
Yes, you can occasionally get good brunch in D.C. Monday, June 15, 2009. I have displayed a fondness. French restaurants here at Brunch DC, and Napoleon Bistro is no exception. Complete with waitresses with (possibly fake) French accents, a large menu of generally delicious French brunch dishes, and a charming French bistro atmosphere and decor (including an outdoor seating area), Napoleon is an excellent choice. French accents - maybe I'm completely off-base here and if so I apologize - but they sounded...

Brunch DC: 2 Amys
http://brunchdc.blogspot.com/2008/11/2-amys.html
Yes, you can occasionally get good brunch in D.C. Sunday, November 9, 2008. 2 Amys is rightly known for having the best pizza in the city. Acting on a tip from the Washingtonian. The bagel experience is augmented by homemade cream cheese and house-smoked salmon. The cream cheese is very soft, almost whipped, which makes it very spreadable. The salmon is nicely smoked and mild, though it did have a few dark spots and imperfections. Contact information after the jump. Continue reading. To suggest a place f...

Brunch DC: La Fourchette
http://brunchdc.blogspot.com/2008/09/la-fourchette.html
Yes, you can occasionally get good brunch in D.C. Monday, September 22, 2008. The menu, which is not available online, has a selection of poached egg dishes, ranging from a classic Benedict to Florentine (spinach and mornay sauce. With fresh artichokes. Both the Florentine and the Béarnaise are excellent. Eggs are properly poached and runny. Both have well-made sauces and are nicely presented. A great experience overall, especially when the weather is good outside. PS Good dinner too, and you can BYO wine.

Café Tropé, at 2100 P street NW off Dupont Circle, serves eclectic French-Caribbean food in an attractive setting. The name is derived from Saint Tropez, a seaport in the French Riviera. Tropé's brunch, which is served on both Saturdays and Sundays, includes one glass of house champagne and delicious warm crusty rolls served with a garlic and artichoke tapenade. While it's not a prix fixe. The service was ...

Visit the My Blogspot! July 17, 2007. Refreshing, light, easy and fast to make. Very healthy and good for you. One large beet or two medium ones. Boil until soft, use a knife to test if its done: if the knife goes in completelly smooth and soft all the way through the center it is ready to take out of the water. This is the easy way and way way faster. Chop Everything into tiny fine little bits. Add salt, pepper. Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise. I also like to chill it a bit in the fridge before serving.
