On: November 16, 2011. In: It's all about me. So, I’ve been under usual measures on the vitamin D front, I learnt at nurse check up today. Symptoms: fatigue, joint pain and other familiar bad boys for those of us blessed by RA. Ho-ho, I joshed, so maybe the RA diagnosis a whole fantasy of modern diagnosis for me. On: September 14, 2011. In: It's all about me. Just had my 6 monthly Professor visit. 17.5mg MTX Humira have me as well as can be hoped, hurray. Got my non-swollen knuckles rapped for falling off of nurse’s radar and missing 2 monthly checks. Ah, the joy of feeling well enough to, heh? Bloods a teeny tiny bit elevated recently, Prof taking my niggling aches more seriously than me. He ‘doesn’t like’ that my elbows are beginning to give when weightbearing. Frozen Woman: Life with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Thursday, March 1, 2012. No More Daily Anti-Inflammatories! Had to have a small procedure last week, which meant I had to stop taking anti-inflammatories the week before as they can increase the amount of bleeding and bruising, and guess what? I felt really no different off them than on (other than my digestive system felt a whole lot more settled), so off them I will stay! So yay re that! Posted by Laurie Grassi. Frozen Woman: Life with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Monday, September 27, 2010. A Pain in the Shoulder. My left shoulder is killing me. It's been bothering me for probably the past three weeks. I think I aggravated it at the gym somehow and just haven't given it enough rest or something because, well, everyday life is getting in the way of that rest. You know. Although the month of June is jammed packed with Father’s Day, birthday celebrations and school activities it is also a time for slowing down the pace of life. Right now it’s a daily effort to keep calm and remember the good efforts on the long run and at the races I participated in March.
