Is short for Havsorkestern (“the sea orchestra”) which is the name of the Moomin Dad s sailing yacht. As it is said to be bad luck to change names of boats, that s something we ll stick to. Studiebesök hos UK Syversen med SXK. Igår var jag på studiebesök med SXK på UK Syversen i Mölndal. Kvällen började med en genomgång av de olika stegen i segeltillverkning med fokus på deras tape-drive-koncept vars användningsområde ju ligger ganska långt från hur vi seglar. Det blev dock mer och mer intressant allteftersom kvällen gick slutade i en väldigt spännande diskussion om riggtrim och segel i samverkan som väckte en hel del tankar och idéer. 2006 seglade Malin och Kalle till skotska västkusten via Kaledoniakanalen. 2009 seglade Malin, Kalle och Arvid runt svenska kusten upp till Åland och vidare till Åbolands skärgård och Hangö innan vi vände västerut och gick hem via Göta kanal. Holland och Engelska kanalen 2014. Planen var att segla via Limfjorden och danska västkusten till de nordfrisiska öarna och sedan gå in till Östersjön via Eider och Kielkanalen.
