Tuesday, January 15, 2008. Mac has finally gotten enough people to purchase them to take notice by scammers. Windows scareware has SpySheriff, WinFixer, and IEDefender. Mac now has MacSweeper for those users of Mac. What does it do? It scans your Mac, like the Windows scareware scans Windows machines, and finds adaware and trojans. It will find and display results even on a computer that is clean. To remove them, you have to purchase the software. Syptec Junior Security Administrator.

Thursday, January 10, 2008. Spam Spam Spam and New Spam. Spam is an ongoing problem that is really impossible to win. If you block a new type of spam, the spammers find a new way to send you spam. The only true way to defeat spam is to make it unprofitable. To do that, every person with an email address would have to be taught to never even open spam messages.
