Today's Wow!: Vibro-wind
http://designforwow.blogspot.com/2011/01/vibro-wind.html
Friday, 21 January 2011. Turbines are expensive to build, noisy, big, and they kill birds. Perhaps these pad panels. Would be better suited to generating electricity from the wind. Today's Wow!: Artist Jack Featherstone
http://designforwow.blogspot.com/2011/01/artist-jack-featherstone.html
Tuesday, 18 January 2011. These paintings by Jack Featherstone were painted on pieces of bark. The photos look like puddled paintings on the wall, but I suspect seeing the paintings themselves is very different. Either way, the painted worlds look like they live within the shapes of the bark. Why do most artists paint within straight lines? Do the paintings wow you? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Vanity hat stand .for motorcyclists? Tuesday, 5 April 2011. Was a French immigrant who became an American nanny. Her photos of 1950-60s America are stunning, not least for their honesty. I highly recommend taking a look through the blog-gallery. Do they "wow" you? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Today's Wow!: January 2011
http://designforwow.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 26 January 2011. Taking a headache tablet before going to bed is a strategy that could reduce the hangover that generally follows a night of drinking. This advert suggests that eating a McDonalds' burger could have a similar effect. Because a Big Mac is "more than just a burger". I think it's a beautiful image (and therefore very clever). Does it "wow" you? Friday, 21 January 2011. Turbines are expensive to build, noisy, big, and they kill birds. Perhaps these pad panels. Was created from part...

http://designforwow.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, 16 December 2010. The iPad not big enough for you? How would a 58 inch multitouch surface. It hooks up to your iPhone through a 30-pin dock connector. Just be careful where you put that cup of coffee down! Is this one of the first steps in PCs becoming handheld devices and screens becoming even more massive? Does it "wow" you? Wednesday, 15 December 2010. I thought this was a 3D image, but turns out it's a sculpture .in bread! Does it "wow" you? Does this "wow" you? Tuesday, 14 December 2010.
