New Orleans AIM Trip: 10 Stories
http://keithcich.blogspot.com/2008/08/10-stories.html
New Orleans AIM Trip. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Beginning to think about stories for New Orleans, I have so far settled upon two Subjects, The church, and reconstruction. 1 The influence Catholicism has had on the traditions and culture of New Orleans. 2 How has the Church been an essential aid to the redevelopment of the city. 3 What is the current state of the Church and its congregations. What are parishes facing in terms of finances and decreases in parish sizes. How do things like this become fodd...

New Orleans AIM Trip: October 2008
http://keithcich.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
New Orleans AIM Trip. Thursday, October 2, 2008. Today we drove up to Baton Rouge to meet with Thomas Neff. I'm not sure what the scenery looks like or exactly how long it takes to get there from New Orleans because I slept all the way there and all the way back. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Holy Cross gives you a different feeling. It is a feeling of a neighborhood that has barely been touched. In most of the neighborhoods I have visited so far, I want to ask myself "where am I? My thoughts are with all ...

New Orleans AIM Trip: Holy Cross
http://keithcich.blogspot.com/2008/10/holy-cross.html
New Orleans AIM Trip. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. This morning we drove over to the Holy Cross area. Holy Cross gives a much different view of the progress New Orleans is making. Going through the previous neighborhoods I have visited, the damage suffered is very apparent, but new housing and construction give you a sense of hope and of people moving forward towards positive, if not somewhat slow progress. It is hard to imagine what these neighborhoods once looked like. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

New Orleans AIM Trip. Monday, September 29, 2008. Today we went out the the 9th Ward for a sunrise shoot. I meet a couple of painters in the neighborhood who were working on new houses. Business is definitely up for them since the storm and reconstruction of houses. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). AiM Photogrpahy Program in New Orleans II. Join Us This Summer. Ashley Miller NOLA: The Emotional Side
http://ashleymiller21.blogspot.com/2008/09/emotional-side.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2008. That’s just one story. I’m not saying that they were the only dogs I felt sorry for. All of these dogs have their own story, whether their owners were killed in Katrina, or they weren‘t potty trained so their owner took them to a shelter. They have a story and they deserve a home regardless of their background. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Salvador and Jill's legs. Http:/ www.robfinchphoto.com/. Ashley Miller NOLA: Thursday October 2nd
http://ashleymiller21.blogspot.com/2008/10/thursday-october-2nd.html
Thursday, October 2, 2008. I'm excited to be going back this saturday for when they have some kids coming to read to the dogs. How cool is that! When I was finished shooting at the LSPCA, Colleen picked me up in the mini van and we got on the ferry to come back to the hotel. It was a nice view of the city. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ashley Miller NOLA: October 2008
http://ashleymiller21.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 19, 2008. We’re back in Minnesota and it’s cold here! Since we got back it’s been extremely busy. I started classes right away on Monday and have been going non stop since then. Today however, I’ve had a solitude day and the opportunity to sit down and reflect on my experience in New Orleans. Science proves every day that animals are smarter than we have originally given them credit for. They are part of our culture. The animals of New Orleans are a true embodiment of surviving so...I've ...
