We were added quite last minute to the Gruene Market Days in Gruene Historic District. This is a two day market so I was in quite a frenzy getting everything ready. I did not have the means to work on photographs on this new computer but this has been fixed, so finally posting a new pretty, I think I am keeping this one for myself. Samples of my Work. Friday, July 10, 2015. It's been a while! Obviously I have not been posting for a while. Life got in the way. I have made a pretty doll last weekend and we are enjoying a week of rest now at my husband's parents' house. The technique I used is called doodle stitching, doodling but then in embroidery, it is very relaxing to me, although I did make this piece in two days since I had a deadline that all of a sudden was moved closer :). Samples of my Work. Through the technique of hand tufting, Ghislaine makes original rugs and wall hangings in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and pile heights. All rugs are One-of-a-kind and specially made to order. The technique of tufting was actually already around in the 18th and early 19th century. Then there was a revival of the technique around 1895. Samples of my Work. Friday, September 19, 2014. Gearing up for Gruene Market. Let's just hope we are not going to be rained out! I have worked hard to be able to present several new items, one set especially looks very luscious to my opinion, my fingers are literally hurting but it's so pretty! The set is made with glass crystal and pearl beads in chocolate, 'gold' and a deep red. The earrings have a handmade balled copper headpin at the bottom and niobium surgical steel ear wires.
