Tuesday, September 13, 2011. The Japanese Culinary Happening in Zawiercie. On 7th and 8th of September in our school took place the first performance of our project’s work. Students who were involved in a project “Japan” presented for other students and teachers two Japanese snacks. That became very popular. Agnieszka is making a dango. Teachers tried these strange snacks too. On the first day Agnieszka – the main organizer- wore pinafore and on the second day she dressed up in kimono.

Thursday, February 16, 2012. A competition about Naruto in Zawiercie. On 15th February we had a competition about Naruto. It was organised by students. The participants had to answer many questions and did special exercises too, like: to draw something (Tobi's mask, Sasuke's Sharingan etc.). Who was an expert of that topic and he prepared all the questions for this contest. The competition won Agnieszka. Who got Naruto vol. 52. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Characters from anime. They are beautiful.

Sunday, May 27, 2012. An eTwinning conference in Poznań. We would like to boast about our award in an “eTwinning contest in a school library”. We won a second award for a project “Japan”. There was no first place, so we were the best. Unfortunately, there were some deficiencies in a project which did not allow us to get a first prize. Never mind, we enjoyed it very much. We picked up our award in Poznań, on an eTwinning conference. We spent great time in a beautiful hotel and we also visited the city.

Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Japanese Photo Session in Zawiercie. 27 March in our shool there was a photo session. The session was held in our school library and: Agnieszka (geisha's apprentice), Paulina (geisha), Klaudia (cherry-tree) and Emil (Shogun) took part in it. Ms Kate, our librarian, was both the hairdresser, make-up artist and a photographer. We presented a traditional Japanese costume - kimono. In our session we used kimonos, sticks, Japanese umbrella and a lot of cosmetics. It was great fun!

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Origami in a kindergarten in Zawiercie. One of the games was led by Łukasz. It was very easy origami for small children: a dog’s head.
