Grandpa « The Wagner Family
https://thewagners.wordpress.com/2009/11/24/grandpa
Mark, Amy, Emma and Logan. For those of you that haven’t heard, my grandfather passed away a couple weeks ago…on my birthday no less. You might think this would be a traumatic thing for me, but for some reason it seems more fitting than anything else. Grandpa was very much involved in the lives of his grandkids, and it seemed the last couple years especially so in my life. I was glad I made the trip, then and now. November 24, 2009. 1 Comment ». Mark, Amy, Emma and Logan. Lessons Learned While Raising Children. 8221;….”Child do you notice I’m here? 8221;…”Father, do you notice me? 8221; The coolest thing about these times is that I feel Him whisper, “I do, child! 8221;…”I am here! 8221; Never before in my life have I felt that feeling as strongly as I have since having children. It is truly amazing when I hear Him say, “I see you and I love you! O LORD, you have searched me. You know when I sit and when I rise;. You perceive my thoughts. I know ...

Lessons Learned in the PICU « The Wagner Family

Mark, Amy, Emma and Logan. Lessons Learned in the PICU. The past five days have been quite a ride! 2 Nurses are like angels on Earth. I was amazed at the compassion and skill of each nurse that cared for Logan and our family. They were truly AMAZING! Each one took time to love on Logan in their own special way and to care for our needs as well. By the time I left, I felt like I was leaving a group of good friends. I really appreciated all of their care and attention to our needs. May 4, 2010. Our mostly ...

Mark, Amy, Emma and Logan. Yesterday I got a reminder of the power of the parent. The story actually starts a couple of weeks ago at a nearby Wendy’s drive through. The Wendy’s in our area are running a fundraiser where you can buy a keytag for a dollar that is good for a free jr. sized frosty with food purchase between now and the end of the year. One day I’m sure I’ll harness my parenting powers for good. But for now, as far as Emma is concerned, there are many different kinds of pickle...For those of ...

I Wish… « The Wagner Family

Mark, Amy, Emma and Logan. December came and went very quickly. It was an amazing and meaningful month! I wish I knew how to make moments like this last forever, but I don’t. January hit like a series of storms. It has seemed like one “storm” after another. We had to go through the process of finding a new person to care for our children while both Mark and I work (praise God, we found a wonderful woman! However, through it all…the ups and down…I am so thankful that I know God. I’m ...I have for you,R...

Mark, Amy, Emma and Logan. Well, here it is another birthday and I find myself thinking about some of my favorite birthdays in the past. So…I thought it might be fun to share some of the memories here. I’ve always enjoyed my birthday (anyone who knows me, knows that little fact)! However there was one year I’ll never forget….it was the year I chose hot dogs. My brother nearly throttled me! I remember him saying, “Who chooses hot dogs for their birthday dinner? 8221; He said not to worry and my family sai...
