機器人與工業4.0是產業很熱門的話題，身為產業的一份子，我必須關心這方面的發展，因此台灣機器人與智慧自動化展才開展，我就前往參觀，以便了解台灣在這一方面的發展狀況。 參展的單位有政府支持的研究型財團法人、大學以及提供自動化設備服務的廠商。老實說對展出的內容有點失望。廠商以營利為目的，諸如工業4.0的智慧型設備，才在台灣開始萌芽，企業與提供設備的廠商都還在摸索，自然沒有展出。但政府支持的研究型法人還在展示20年前的自動化概念，那麼經濟部所提倡的生產力4.0，企業恐怕就必須慢慢地等待了。 但大數據、物連網僅是一個整體的概念，個別的廠商推動工業4.0，應有自己的需求與目標，譬如日本的FANUC公司就提出「零當機(down time)」的推動目標。因為智慧型機器人相當的珍貴，必須充分運用，而且當機可能影響物流系統的運作，造成顧客的抱怨。 現場也有展示機器人(Robot)，但幾乎都是FA(Factory Automation)的運用概念，倒是台灣的上銀科技所展示的. Pepper 在台首賣1000台，很快就銷售一空，雖然軟銀願意賠錢推廣，但將來是否能被市場接納ᦁ...陳泰明(Tim Chen, NPDP).
