I'm just saying...: Perfect Example
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2014/11/perfect-example.html
Thursday, November 27, 2014. In the last few weeks I seriously have been being taken into a deeper understanding of who God is and in turn my identity has been being revealed. But this last week I received an understanding of God in such a way that I've never before seen. Sadly, that means I make his heart ache often. You see what I realized is that in my relationship with God I'm very close to doing the same thing most of my ex's did to me, but to the purest, unconditional lover of my soul! I am wreckle...

I'm just saying...: It Feels Like Normal
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2015/03/it-feels-like-normal.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. It Feels Like Normal. Our group at Playa Delphines, Cancun. I sit here tonight fighting to keep my eyes open, but I know it's been far to long since I've shared about what has been happening here. I have been in Mexico for almost three months and really it feels like normal life. I mean it's normal to. Walk down the streets dodging dog poop. Not understand everything spoken around me. Sweat after bending over to put on my shoes. Always sing bilingual songs. If you would like to gi...

Monday, November 25, 2013. If I can do it for them, then can't I do it for you? Well, I sit here in amazement of God's faithfulness in Ft.Lauderdale Airport as I wait for my next flight. The only downfall of the flight is while we were distending the pressure in the cabin was so bad that I was almost in tears with pain. (please pray as I am still in pain from it at this very moment at 2:51pm Monday). Wednesday, November 13, 2013. I am writing right now from Lima, Peru! The majority of my years in college...

I'm just saying...: Standing Still in the Midst of Every Ticking Minute
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2014/04/standing-still-in-midst-of-every.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Standing Still in the Midst of Every Ticking Minute. Constantly the Lord keeps speaking "Be still and know that I am God," from Psalm 46:10. The sad thing is I don't know that I've ever realized that those words are only the first part of that verse. This is what the rest says, "I will be exalted in the nations, I will be exalted on the earth! How could I never have known those words? But I choose. His! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm just saying...: July 2014
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 19, 2014. It doesn't look anything like her". We are human, but what are we made up of? What are our body's other than a shell? So what are we really? Do we control the breath in our lungs? The thing is Him breathing life into us isn't for no reason. In Jeremiah God spoke to him stating "I knew you, before I formed you in your mothers womb." Wait, so the God of the universe had a specific plan for Jeremiah's life before he was even conceived? Do you know your original design? If you would ...

I'm just saying...: December 2013
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. Your Eyes Are Amazing! The other day I was watching TV with my brother and the commercial for Centrum Silver came on and within it it claimed;. 8220; Your eyes. Even at a distance of 10 miles, the length of 146 football fields, they can see the light of a single candle.”. Needless to say, that commercial really stuck with me, so their advertising really did do their jobs. Now let me shift this subject just a little bit…. 8220;You are the light of the world. A city set on a ...

http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 14, 2014. My new tattoo that is a depiction of Isaiah 6:8. And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for. 8221; Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”. Have you ever had an evening of story telling? I am finding that it is something I quite enjoy! 8217; She reminded me about the not being able to leave the country due to her citizenship situation. This now showed me she didn’t only want to be a missionary, but she wanted to be a foreign missionary. It's a ...

I'm just saying...: Light as a feather
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2014/09/light-as-feather.html
Saturday, September 20, 2014. Light as a feather. No place I'd rather be. I'm sure thats exactly what those cygnets were thinking as they floated in this pond. (Who knew a baby swan was called a cygnet? I didn't). I mean think about it, we humans get blankets made out of the down feathers because they are warm and cozy. Those babies get not only the warm feathers, but the security of their mother's wing to surround them. And that security is what reminded me of this picture. They will bear you up in thei...

I'm just saying...: March 2014
http://mistyleighanne.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 6, 2014. Unwavering faith- It's what I desire. Romans 4:20-21 "No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.". The above scripture is referring to Abraham, one of the "fathers of the faith." When I read this today it was as if I had to stop and re-read it over and over again. What are the steps I need to take? When is the right time to pursue this said step?
