Monday, February 28, 2005. I had changed the commenting service on this blog site so it is easier for people to leave their comments without signing into blogger.com first. However, since I just installed it, the older comments on the blogspot had disappeared! Hahawell, I only had two so far! I do appreciate the comments from Di and Mai.thanks. Below is the link to Haloscan. Commenting and trackback have been added to this blog. Posted by AL LEE at 2:58 AM. Sunday, February 27, 2005. I am going to post t...

bloggering away.....: The continuation of Bagan Lalang
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2009/09/continuation-of-bagan-lalang.html
Monday, September 07, 2009. The continuation of Bagan Lalang. I have a little problem. I am running out of things to say about Bagan Lalang. Maybe I should have combined the two posts. Oh Well. Just ignore the text and focus on the pictures. When at loss for words, talk about the weather. Right. As you can see, the sky was incredibly blue that day. We were lucky because during the days before, it was pouring and the haze was getting worse. Check Weird younger sister? Posted by AL LEE at 3:18 PM. Be Conte...

bloggering away.....: Tanjung Sepat
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2009/09/tanjung-sepat.html
Saturday, September 19, 2009. On our way back from Bagan Lalang, we stopped by this small fishing town called Tanjung Sepat in Kuala Langat. This town is famous for seafood, which is not surprising since it is, after all, a fishing town. I passed by loads of processed fish, prawns and squids. I was tempted to buy some but refrained from doing so because I had no more room in my luggage. Plus, I didn't fancy having my clothes smell of dried sotong. Posted by AL LEE at 7:52 PM. bloggering away.....: August 2005

Sunday, August 28, 2005. Of BBQ and Turkish Delights. This is the funniest and saddest bbq I had ever attended. Funniest because the coals just simply would not burn and saddest because the coals just simply would not BURN! It was so embarrassing to see other groups that came after us already eating their delicious bbq-ed meat while we were still trying our damnest to get the fire going! Eh, Ton, can work ah this time? A girl and her reflection. And back at the apartment, we had our full dinner! Posted b...

bloggering away.....: Wat Arun
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2009/10/wat-arun.html
Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Thanks to my personal Bangkok tour guide, Mai, I got to enjoy the wonders of the Grand Palace and Wat Arun. Wat Arun has a beautiful meaning - Temple of the Dawn - and is named as such because the early morning light will reflect off the surface of the temple with a pearly iridescence (Source: Wikipedia). Even so, the view from the first story was good enough for me. It was cool, looking down from the steps and seeing people trying to make their way up. My dad is my inspiration...

bloggering away.....: Happy Chinese New Year!
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2010/02/happy-chinese-new-year.html
Saturday, February 13, 2010. Happy Chinese New Year! I am home to celebrate the Chinese New Year this year, after having missed out on five occasions! Being home is good - delicious new year food (although the chopping of the veggies left my hand numb now! The sales, and of course, family! Of course one has to endure the heat and the humidity and those pesky little mosquitoes! After all, weren't we the champions? Happy Chinese New Year! Posted by AL LEE at 9:56 PM. bloggering away.....: April 2005
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 24, 2005. A Day at the Zoo. I have to start with the peacocks cause they are gorgeous! Look at the colour! That brilliant blue. Wow.There were three, or was it four male peacocks in the enclosure. The first time we were there, one of the males spread his plumage. Then the next time we were there, three of them spread their beautiful feathers. What a sight. They were trying to impress the females. A close up look at the plumage. Also adjusted the contrast for this picture. Contrast / brightn...

bloggering away.....: December 2005
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2005. This butterfly was flitting about and when it finally settled, I took this shot. No adjustment of any kind. The lighting came out perfectly. I don't think I can duplicate this. These pictures were taken in my garden back home in Malaysia. As usual, it was raining heavily the past few days and when it stopped, I thought why not go out and take pictures in the garden? Same leafy plant as the butterfly and the one above. I love the pink. One droplet in focus. Merry Christmas and...

bloggering away.....: KL Butterfly Park Part 1
http://bloggering-away.blogspot.com/2010/03/kl-butterfly-park-part-1.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. KL Butterfly Park Part 1. I took Angela to the KL Butterfly Park when she was here. I have not been there before and thought it might be a fun outing, besides just eating (although that is the ultimate activity to do here), seeing buildings and so on in KL. Although there were people there, none of them were local, except for me of course. They were tourists from all over the world, probably visiting the Lake Gardens and decided to drop in for a visit. There were quite a lot of...
