Welcome to our pub in the heart of Wales. Dogs at the Dwynant. We (that is Clive and Dylan, resident hounds) welcome friendly dogs of all sizes, shapes and breeds to Tafarn Dwynant. There is always water available, and sometimes homemade treats as well (worth asking for! Dogs are allowed throughout the pub, and we have a nice wood burning stove to stretch out in front of. All we ask is that our visiting dogs try to contain their natural excitement at life and socialise with each other gently!

Begins a few hundred metres from the village and is one of the best areas for walking in Wales. Climb the formidable Cadair Idris (only 15 minutes drive from the pub) or explore the Dyfi Forest on foot from the pub! Ask us about recommended local walks. And Dyfi Mountain Biking. Just 1 mile south of Ceinws is the Centre for Alternative Technology.
