Today, after watching the live ceremony from France, I imagined again what it must have been like to be a soldier engaged in the fight that raged there. I’m sure I will be able to see the ceremony in its entirety this evening, but it was really something to be able to see much of it live this morning. Ah, the wonder of the Internet. Something I think is unfortunate is that the media coverage of these incidents will only propagate more of the same. Before we heard about Columbine or Sandy Hook, I doubt many troubled individuals would have considered such an act of violence. The media coverage of these events has now ensured that the shooting in Marysville will not be the last one we see. From → Current Events.
