What to bring, what to expect. Paddle shack and gear. Every practice, event or clinic the paddle shack will be open and you will have access to all out club gear. We will supply you with a paddle and instruction to get you started. The Practice leader or steers person will provide access paddles. Life jackets, bailing buckets. What to wear and bring. Evening practice feel free to bring food to share. Many times we linger and hang out for dinner. Hat for warmth and sun protection.

Daphne Hougard's, 32 yr love affair of paddling, began in Santa Barbara when she was attending Brooks Institute photography college. Paddling has led her throughout the South Pacific, Hawaii, California and Canada where she has raced and photographed the outrigger canoe in sport and traditional uses of the outrigger for fishing and transportation. 2000 Started with "Pana", a borrowed canoe from Victor DiNovi.
