Wednesday, May 27, 2009. This is my first son-in-law, Kenneth Trace Porter. There is nary a dull moment when he's around! While we were in Utah, we decided to take Brody to the dinosaur museum. It was lot of fun and there was so much to see there. After we finished looking at all the exhibits, we decided to go to the 3-D movie about dinosaurs. He: "Where's your ticket? Me: "I don't have it. The group I was with already went in and they have my ticket.". He: "Well, you can't go in without a ticket.".

I can't believe it is that time already. where has all the time gone? Is it really time for his mission? I don't know if I am really ready for him to go. This is really, really hard! Monday, October 10, 2011. Permian High School Football. The Gaines families all met in Odessa this past weekend for my mother's funeral. We were there over a Friday, which of course, is high school football night. Permian High School to be exact. So Gary, my brother, got tickets for all of us to go to the game.
