Biblio Mania: April 2012
http://erinsbibliomania.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
One Girl. One Obsession. Infinite Books. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Imagine: How Creativity Works. Reading this book encouraged me to think creatively. I read this book in tandem with a couple others. As I turned over in my mind the premises and ideas of each of the books I had read, I came up with an idea. I've created a website. I want to create a collaborative environment in which people can devise ways to make their bit of space a little bit more beautiful and then share it with the rest of us. I wa...

The Good Life: May 2012
http://jonesgoodlife.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 27 May 2012. First job is to make some choices. We got Resene colour charts that Mum sent over from New Zealand to help us make some choices. Then we went to B and Q to check out their selection. We have to finish the outside walls first so we choose some black for a feature wall at the very front of the house. B and Q has cool toys for mixing paints. Pot Plants.sort of. 其實老爸有說,這些樹是要在1 2個月前先在原地將根切斷,等根部受傷的部分恢復後才將樹移植是最好的,但是因為Bello家租約將在5月底到期,所以我們能挖多少算多少。 Saturday, 26 May 2012. That's Shakir, Bello's...

The Good Life: August 2012
http://jonesgoodlife.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 26 August 2012. So far we have two orange trees, one lemon, one guava, one cinnamon, one avocado and 25 banana trees. Saturday, 25 August 2012. We got round to planting some more fruit trees today. The above guava tree was from Jenny Peng's Mum's farm. This lemon tree we moved from our current house. We thought we killed it but with all the rain of the last two days it has. Friday, 24 August 2012. Http:/ www.facebook.com/groups/141146005948782/. Wednesday, 22 August 2012. Tuesday, 21 August 2012.

Saturday, 17 November 2012. Travis and Maggie were kind enough to buy us a bread maker. I've never had one before but the whole concept of them is awesome. It has a timer, so you (read: Ivy) just drop all the ingredients in at night and set the timer for what time you want fresh bread in the morning. It mixes and kneads the dough and then starts baking about an hour before you want it. Genius. Apparently you are allowed to open it mid knead to see how it is going. Nuts can get added too. The Good Life: June 2012
http://jonesgoodlife.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, 30 June 2012. Well that's wrong too. The balcony railings have been put up. But they are wrong. The railings should be simple straight lines. Ivy almost shat the bed when she saw them. This will probably involve an argument with Mr Lin. He's on his way to the house to have a look and see what happened. Good chance that our railings have been put on another house somewhere in Hualien. I kinda wish we had used the colours to spell out Jones here. Thursday, 28 June 2012. Now it has grouting. Three...

Reflections of a melancholic bookreader. Reflection on the first half of 2013. At the beginning of the year I made a note to myself stating how I would connect with more bloggers, read more books and write better reviews. Six months later, I've failed miserably at all three. Well.I like my reviews, they're informal, concise, personal and still informative. So maybe not a complete fail. But definitely failures on the other two. I can't get away. I'm being silly.it could be amazing, right? There's a new si...
