This season, we had problem with rain, my first thought was that we have to cancel the game. Arriving at the ball park, I saw many huge ponds on the ground. 野球場へ向かう途中で、とんでもないくらいの雨が降ってきた。今シーズンは雨にずいぶん泣かされた。今日も中止しなけりゃダメなのか、そう思った。球場に着いてみると、大きな池になっている。 We won by 9 to 2. 試合ですか？9対２で勝ちました。うれしい一勝でした。 Links to this post. Life in Austria without Kangaroos :). Dec 24, 2014. On the last day of this year at the regular cafe/pub, I was asked by the owner Ewa to cook something for other regular customers. I prepared sukiyaki. This time, I used the rice from my uncle. Which I really like and ate very slowly and carefully. I cooked rice with eringi, abura-age (tofu bag) and soybean, made warishita (sotosay soup for this dish), cut vegetables and then put them all into Nanbu-Iron pot. Well, now is surely the season for sukiyaki.

I always told Ewa that I do not want to cook anything which people can go somewhere to buy. But she was stubborn and insisted this time that she wants sushi. Surface was rough, but it was within my expectation. First I thought of epoxy resin, but it was a bit more elastic than my expectation. I made the thickness for 2.5mm, it was really the correct design, I thought. 設計通りの出来でした。表面が荒かったのも予想の範疇でした。エポキシ樹脂のようなものを考えていましたが、それよりももっと弾力性のある材質で、肉厚を2.5ミリにしておいたのは正解でした。 Links to this post.
